What it does
Check a selection or the whole document
Long documents are checked in batches, so Word stays responsive.
Ranked suggestions, with reasons
Each suggestion says why — a long vowel written short, letters that sound alike, a missing sukun.
Replace safely, one word at a time
A word is replaced only where it is still exactly as it was checked. Tracked changes stay tracked.
Look up the selected word
Radheef meanings, English where Radheef gives it, and how an inflected word is built.
Your own words
Names and terms you add are accepted from then on, kept on your device.
Keeps checking if the connection drops
The word list is kept on your device and updated when a new one is published. Opening the toolbar needs a connection.
Install
- Word on the web: open a document, choose Home → Add-ins → More Add-ins → My Add-ins → Upload My Add-in, and upload the manifest file.
- Word for Windows or Mac: your organisation’s Microsoft 365 administrator can deploy the same manifest to everyone from the Microsoft 365 admin center (Integrated apps). Developers can sideload it as described by Microsoft.
- Then choose AtollMind Dhivehi on the Home tab, and Check document or Look up selection.
Needs Word that runs modern add-ins: Word in Microsoft 365 (Windows or Mac), Word 2021 or later bought outright, or Word on the web. Older volume-licensed Office shows a message instead of the toolbar.
Privacy, in short
Your document stays in Word. The toolbar downloads a list of Dhivehi words to check against, sends a single word when you look one up, and sends a word and your note only when you press Report. It needs no account and sends no analytics.
