Home (dashboard)

Overview#

Home (/) is the signed-in workspace. It shows your credits, lets you start a meeting, and lists your meetings and series folders with search.

Purpose#

The starting point for every session: see what you can spend, find a past meeting, or start a new one.

Who uses it#

Every signed-in user.

Interface explanation#

1. New meeting: opens New meeting.
2. Dhivehi dictionary: opens /dictionary.
3. Your credits: available balance, split into plan credits (expire with the plan) and bought credits (never expire), plus the date the next plan credits arrive. Plan & credits ↗ opens /upgrade.
4. Search: "Search meetings, transcripts & summaries…".
5. Meeting card: title, a status chip (Done, Failed, Transcribing…), date, length, language, and a layers button (Add to a series).
6. Series folder: one card per series ("Series · 1 meeting · latest 30 Sept"), which opens the series.
7. Bottom navigation: Home, Actions, New, Assistant, Settings.
8. Notification bell. 9. Theme toggle. 10. Sign out. 11. Floating dictionary button.

The list header shows counts ("2 loaded · 1 series").

How to use#

1. Type in Search. Results update as you type and show the matching passage (e.g. "…Ibrahim Nazeer from engineering. The main technical issue is that document uploads sometimes timeout…").
2. Click a meeting card to open it, or a series card to open the series.
3. Use the layers icon on a card to add that meeting to a series.

Example scenario#

After the synthetic "Digital Services Improvement Meeting" was filed into the series "Digital Services Improvement Programme", Home showed the series as a folder card, the failed "Conference Room 2 microphone check" with a red Failed chip, and the seeded "Harbour planning · QA sample".

Expected result#

Search narrows the list to meetings whose title, transcript or summary contains the words. Clearing it restores the list.

Important notes#

• Meetings inside a series appear in the series folder, not as separate cards. (VERIFIED THROUGH UI)
• A Shared with you section lists meetings other members of your plan shared with you, and each can be removed from your list. (VERIFIED THROUGH CODE, components/shared-meetings.tsx; not seen, because the QA account had no team members.)
• Search can also fail with "Search is unavailable." (VERIFIED THROUGH CODE)
