Overview#
In-app notifications appear under the bell in the header, with an unread count. Which kinds you receive is set in Settings → Notifications → Choose. There is no email notification yet ("Under the bell in the app. No email yet.").
Purpose#
To tell you when a transcript or minutes are ready, when an action is assigned or commented on, when approvals are needed, and when credits run low.
Who uses it#
Every signed-in user.

Interface explanation#
- Bell panel: Mark all read, items grouped by day (TODAY), each marked Unread: with a relative time ("36m ago"). The source also defines Load more and a Notification settings link.
- Preferences (10 switches):
- Assignments: an action given to you or taken off your list.
- Comments and mentions: mentions always reach you.
- Replies from assignees: confirmations and clarification requests.
- Progress on your actions.
- Changes to your actions: due date, priority or wording.
- Reminders: three days before a due date, on the day, and weekly once missed.
- Meetings: transcript or minutes ready or failed; a meeting shared with you.
- Approvals.
- Team.
- Credits: running low.

Step 2 Choose which ones reach you
Example scenario#
During the run the bell collected "The transcript is ready for Digital Services Improvement Meeting" and "Minutes are ready for Digital Services Improvement Meeting" (twice: the first build and the update).
Important notes#
- Meeting notifications VERIFIED THROUGH UI. Assignment, comment, reminder, approval, team and credit notifications, and the real-time toasts ("An action was assigned to you" with View), were NOT VERIFIED: they need a second account or a due date passing. Reminder timing is stated in the preferences sheet (UI text).
- The small number on the Actions item in the bottom bar is a separate count: actions assigned to you, not unread notifications.
