Overview#
/upgrade is where you renew or change a plan, buy extra hours or credit packs, pay by bank transfer and upload the payment slip, and see your credit activity. Payments are verified by an administrator before anything is added. Nothing renews automatically and no card is stored.
Purpose#
Prepaid, manual-approval billing suited to bank-transfer payment.
Who uses it#
Account owners. Members of someone else's plan see a read-only pooled view instead (VERIFIED THROUGH CODE, components/pooled-upgrade.tsx).

Interface explanation#
- Balance: "651 credits · 591 of them are plan credits, which are spent first and expire with the plan. The other 60 never expire."
- Current plan: "Team · Billed monthly · Paid through 30 October 2026", the carry-over rule, Pay for the next period — Team, monthly and Move to Personal at renewal.
- Monthly plans (Monthly / Annual toggle): Personal, Team ("Your plan") and Business, with Move up now (prorated).
- Need more this month?: Buy an extra hour (120 credits for MVR 55; up to 2× the monthly grant per month).
- Credit packs: 200 credits for MVR 100, 500 for MVR 240, 1,200 for MVR 550. They never expire.
- 1. Transfer MVR X: bank, account name, account number (with Copy).
- 2. Submit your payment slip: shows what you are buying; JPG, PNG or PDF · up to 15 MB; Submit slip for … (disabled until a file is chosen).
- Credit activity: the ledger, e.g. Series agenda −2, Minutes generation −4, Meeting transcription −3, Team plan monthly credits +600, One-time free trial +60, Unsuccessful transcription refunded +1; Show all.

Councils, schools and government offices are on annual contracts arranged offline ("write to us"). The landing page lists Council / School 4 h (MVR 2,388 / year), 8 h (MVR 4,788 / year) and Government Office (MVR 17,880 / year).

How to use#
- Choose what to buy: next period, a plan change, an extra hour or a credit pack. Step 1 shows the exact amount (e.g. selecting 500 credits changes it to Transfer MVR 240 and Submit slip for 500 credits).
- Transfer the amount to the account shown.
- Upload the slip → Submit slip…. The page then shows the payment awaiting review.
- When an administrator approves it, the credits or plan period are added and appear in Credit activity.
Important notes#
- Slip submission was deliberately NOT performed: it would place a fake payment in the real administrator's review queue. The "Payment awaiting review" state and approval are VERIFIED THROUGH CODE only (
components/upgrade-client.tsx,review_payment_slipin migration 0064). - There is no transfer-reference field on the slip form, although the project README mentions supplying one. (UI shows file + product only.)
- Transcription rounds up to whole minutes; failed transcription refunds reserved credits (seen: "Unsuccessful transcription refunded +1").
- For this run the QA account's Team plan was granted directly in the database by the project owner's request, not bought through this page.
