Overview#

/decisions lists every decision recorded in your minutes, numbered DEC-YYYY-NNNN, with its status (Active, Superseded, Revoked) and a link back to the exact words in the transcript.

Purpose#

A searchable, auditable record of what was decided, when, and whether it still stands.

Who uses it#

Minute-takers, managers and anyone who needs to check a past decision. Changing a decision's status is for the owner.

Interface explanation#

Search ("Search decisions", also accepts a number like DEC-2026-0007) → ?q=.
Status chips: Active (default) · Superseded · Revoked · All.
Filters: Meeting (All meetings or one meeting), From and To dates, Clear, Show decisions.
Decision card: number, status, wording, meeting and date.
Drawer:
- Minutes number (D-01), meeting and "Version 2 of the minutes".
- From the transcript quote, with Open in transcript, Open meeting and Approved minutes ↗.
- Mark superseded, Revoke.

How to use#

Open Actions → Decisions.
Search or filter; click a decision to open the drawer.
To retire a decision, choose Mark superseded (pick the replacing decision) or Revoke (a reason is required, up to 500 characters).

Example scenario#

DEC-2026-0001, "It was agreed that usability testing would be completed prior to the next release…", came from D-01 of the approved Digital Services minutes. Searching "usability" found it; "procurement contract" returned Nothing matches with Clear filters.

Expected result#

Decisions appear once minutes containing them exist. (Here it appeared after the minutes were approved; whether drafts also feed the register was not isolated.)

Important notes#

Revoke stays disabled until a reason is typed. (VERIFIED THROUGH UI; the form was cancelled.)
Supersede, Revoke and Restore were not carried out. The validation messages "A decision can't supersede itself." and "Say why it was revoked." are VERIFIED THROUGH CODE (components/decisions/*).
