On this page
- Goal: get every speaker's name and every misheard word right before minutes are made (or update the minutes afterwards).
- Performed in the browser: yes.
Watch it#
Step-by-step, without the animation
Step 1 Yaumiyya heard people introduce themselves
Step 2 Accept a name with one tap
Step 3 Fix a misspelt speaker everywhere at once
Step 4 Correct a word in a line
Step 5 It saves by itself
Step 1: Open the Transcript tab#
Name suggestions appear at the top when people introduce themselves in the recording.
Step 2: Accept correct suggestions#
"Hassan introduced as Hassan Ahmed" → Use name. Every Hassan line is renamed.
Step 3: Rename misspelled speakers#
The transcriber heard "Mariam"; the correct spelling is Mariyam Shifa. Click the speaker chip → Rename everywhere (3 lines) → type the name → Save.
For a wrong suggestion ("Ibrahim Nazir"), press ✕ Not Ibrahim's name, then rename the speaker to Ibrahim Nazeer the same way.
Step 4: Correct words in a line#
Click the line, fix the text, and click away. "It saves by itself."
Step 5: Refresh the minutes (if they already exist)#
Open Minutes. The notice "Transcript changed since these minutes were made." offers Update · free.
Press it and wait; the new version appears by itself. Your own edits ("your wording", "AI formal") are kept.
Result#
All 16 lines carry the correct four names, the corrected words survive a reload, and the updated minutes no longer list the duplicate attendee.
Note#
The Summary is not rewritten by these corrections; it keeps the original spelling.
